Junior Section

Our Junior section is overseen and organized by committee member Lewis Ridley ably assisted by the Pro Dan Clee and his assistant Ryan. A number of competitions are run throughout the year, including medals, stablefords, and Junior matches.

Golf mark accreditation For Evesham

Effective from 17th April 2009, Evesham Golf Club was awarded full accreditation and became the 15th Worcestershire Amateur Golf association member to gain this recognition. We now have qualified personnel within the Club who can mentor junior golfers and address any queries arising from their playing golf at Evesham.

Saturday Morning Coaching

Every Saturday we hold Professional tuition for Junior golfers from 11am until 12pm. The cost is £4 per child and equipment will be provided if required. We have taught juniors as young as 4 years old. The aim is for each junior to progress through to Tuesday evening Junior Nights (see below) where we will continue their development towards becoming a competent young golfer, and potential Junior Squad member.

Junior Night starts in April

This year Tuesday nights will begin on 9th April, focussing on Junior Squad practice matches/competitions over 9 holes, along with our progressing juniors being acclimatised to the golf course by being shown the ropes by our volunteer members. Periodically, pre-arranged coaching sessions will take place with our Professional Staff to focus on the golf swing & technical skills. Junior Night will begin at 5pm each Tuesday.
