Seniors Section
Welcome to the Seniors Section of Evesham Golf Club, in which we have a varied programme of golf through out the year. There are roll ups on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings taking place at 8.15.
The main Seniors day is Wednesday, when most, but not all competitions are held. During the winter months a Winter League and Eclectic competition is run fortnightly, with a throw up fiddle in between.
During the main golfing season there many competitions to get involved with, several Trophy, Stableford and Medal competitions, Open and mixed events, away days, and 20 interclub matches
The section is open to all male members who are aged 55 and over. We have about 75 playing members, with age’s from 55 to 80 plus, with handicaps generally falling between 13 and 24. We are a friendly section, as indeed the whole club is, and we welcome anyone who wishes to play with us. While we believe that Senior’s golf should be a social game, and should be fun, we still believe in being competitive and adhering strictly to the rules of golf. A committee is elected each year at the seniors A.G.M to administer the section.
