The Social Committee needs your help!  We’re aware that for some people a night out at the Golf Club doesn’t appeal but for some, it’s a highlight.  We’re wondering how to attract a broader group of members so we thought we’d just ask. To that end we have created an independent survey which should not  take more than a few minutes to complete.

The Ladies held their Presentation Evening on 1st November in the Club House. It was a very enjoyable evening with excellent food, plenty of lively chatter and another risqué joke from Captain Pat.

Ladies Presentation Evening 1 November 2011 is a post from: Evesham Golf Club

Evesham Seniors’ 2011 season finished in fine style on Wednesday 12 October. Thirty seniors reported at 8.00 am for a ‘shotgun start’ to a triad competition played in Indian summer weather.  Fladbury’s fairways may be parched after months with little rain but the greens are in magnificent order and high scoring was order of the day:  par for this particular format was 80 points, yet the winners – Richard Cross (Club Captain), Mike Gage and Ken Hunt – streaked home well in front with an amazing score of 95. Peter Edmunds, Jeff Fletcher and Roger Smith were none too shabby either in second place with 90 points.  

Before settling down to lunch, Richard Saville, the outgoing Seniors’ Captain, presented the county co-ordinator of Help for Heroes, Ian Baldry, with a cheque for £450.00 from raffle monies raised at the Evesham Seniors’ two open events held this year.  A mellow AGM rounded off proceedings, during which Mike Abraham, the newly elected Seniors’ Captain, presented Richard Saville with a fine glass tankard as a token of the Seniors’ appreciation of his leadership and hard work over the previous 12 months.  Now bring on the Winter League with woolly hats and mittens.
