Evesham Seniors v Worcester Golf & Country Club

Fortress Craycombe Links remains intact but only just as Evesham Seniors held a strong team from Worcester Golf & Country Club to a 3 ½ – 3 ½ draw on Wednesday 27^th June.  Seniors’ Matches are always enjoyable affairs but this one, by common consent on both sides, was especially satisfying because the result was in the balance for several of the pairings until the last couple of holes.  For the record, Evesham winners were Neil Croft/Derek Stroud (by 2 holes), Peter Gilbert/Mike Brumage (6&5), and Dave Hartland/Bryan Rogers (3&2).
