Today’s matches in Division 2 saw a couple of surprises, firstly George and Gavin managed to achieve their first point, beware Pete and Jamie it could be a battle royal for the wooden spoon. Secondly John (the dentist) Jones and his stand in partner Ian Elias lost 5 and 4 to Ridley and Smith. John put it down to tiredness after a two hour appointment in his surgery with Geoff Insall who he can now confirm is still capable of talking non stop even with his mouth wide open and a drill inserted doing 500 revolutions per minute!
