Hole 5. River Hole
Heading off the 4th green and down the hill to the next tee, the clue to the 5th hole is in its title! This hole follows the River Avon, which is on your left-hand side. A long par 4 off the mens’ white tees and as a par 5 off the ladies red tees. A ditch runs down the tree line on the right-hand side to gather up a shot played in safety to the right. What you will not necessarily see from the fairway, is a wide ditch that runs diagonally across the fairway approximately 100 yards from the green. There are no bunkers on this hole. It doesn’t need them!
