Tuesday 10th June saw Penny Osborne hold her Ladies Captain’s Day in aid of the Versus Arthritis charity. As well as running a competition for the Ladies, a suberb afternoon tea was laid on by Donna and Amy, along with a great raffle table. As reagrds the golf the event this was a stableford team competition with 4 per team. Winning on the day were Jean Bevan, Eunice Allen, Angela Budden and Caroline Nelson with 49 points. Caroline has only just joned the Club as a member so it was fantastic to see her in the winning team:
Runners up were the team of Mel Evans, Lesley Curnock, Elaine Baird and Caroline Washbourne with 48 points. A double bonus for Caroline who was celebrtaing her 80th birthday!
