On Wednesday 9th July 2025 the Seniors section completed in the David Taylor Flag competition. It is a Senior Mens inter club Strokeplay competition. The leader carrys a flag until he reaches a point where he exhausts his number of designated shots. Course handicap plus your own playing handicap ie. 72 + 28 = 100. When you reach this point the flag is placed in the spot where the ball finishes. The lead changed a couple of times before we ended up with an unusual tie. Both winners Mike Hocking and Dave Kewley finished by holng out on the extra hole, the 18th. Congratulations to both.
