A highlight of the golfing year and one of the most prestigious events in the Ladies golfing calendar is the Lad ies Club Championship.
Two events were run, an 18 hole and 9 hole event. The traditional 18 hole event is run over two rounds, the first being played on Saunday 20th July with the second and final round played on Tuesday 22nd July. Alongside the second round of the 18 hole Championship a single round 9 hole chnapionship was also played.
Prizes are awarded for the best gross and nett scores.
18 Hole Club Championship
The overall winner with a gross score of 190 was Melanie Evans pipping Lesley Curnock by 1 shot! Lesley did manage to take the nett prize with a score of 154 just beating Sandra Langmead who scored 155.

9 hole Club Championship
The overall winner with a gross score of 54 was Patsy Brumage. The overall nett winner was Marilyn Brierley with a score of 34.
