On Sunday the 24th of September your Club Captain Paul Sharpe completed a wing walk at Headcorn Airfield in Kent. The flight lasted 12 minutes and Captain Sharpe was secured (thankfully) on top of a Boeing Stearman Bi- Plane, built in 1942 and initially used for pilot training during the 2nd World War. Both exhilerating and fun, Captain Sharpe can be seen smiling on completing his challenge. The flight and challenge was in aid of his Captain’s Charity Combat Stress and thanks to the generosity of members and friends the current total of pledges has now reached over £1200. The Just Giving page remains open and can be accessed below

Alternatively a box has been placed in the bar area where members may make a cash donation in an envelope. All monies donated will go to Combat Stress.
