The Ray Till Tankards competition for the Seniors section was held on Wednesday 3rd March 2024. The event is played as a greensome par bogey format. Each player in the pair tees off and then they pick the best drive and play alternate shots.
The winners were the Club Captain, Mark New, and Reg Evans (competition organiser) with +2. This is Reg’s first ever trophy in golf and could only have been achieved with Mark’s skill and knowledge. This is where the friendship ends however as they face each other in the Ralph Burton Knockout Cup.
Runners up were Paul Buckley and Tony Edgworth with -1.
