72 players participated in the Seniors Pairs Open in perfect conditions, resulting in some high scores. The worthy winners were Geoff Wellens and Gerry Ricketts pipping the second and third places by one point at the end of the day with a stunning 48 points.
Many of the visitors praised the condition of the course, the meal and the welcome they received at the club, promising to return again.
The raffle raised £390 towards the Seniors Captains charity.
