On Friday the 25th of August the annual Past Captain’s Putter was contested at Evesham Golf Club. Past Captain’s ,the current Captain and the Vice Captain battled for bragging rights, and in the case of the Past Captain’s the honour of winning the trophy. The contest was hard fought but in the end single figure handicap Gary Bristowe with 37 was pipped by the two time Club Captain Geoff Insall who scored an excellent 40 points. With back to back wins this puts Geoff in line for a historic hat trick next year!. The golf was followed by a sumptuous meal courtesy of Shani Kour and her team and copious amounts of port provided as is tradition by the Vice Captain.
