A full field of 48 teams took part in this popular competition celebrating our (and the country’s) longest serving Golf Professional, played this year as a better ball stableford.
Conditions were good, lots of run on a very dry course, but greens and surrounds especially and the rest of the playing area were a compliment to our greens staff, who put in a lot of effort into the presentation of the course.
Many thanks go to Les Bond and Malcolm Carnall for their starting duties, Chris Cave for spotting, Terry Andrews for general help as it was needed, Rob Steele for golfing help and Neil and his catering team for all their hard work.
Overall we had 13 teams of visitors and 7 guests of members who played on the day, they were all very appreciative of their welcome and a few were in the prizes. These were as follows: –

The raffle collected £415 for Dementia UK, our Captain’s Charity. Thanks to all those who donated prizes and for everyone’s generosity in buying tickets. The prize winners are as follows:
