Twenty teams took to the course to contest the Mike Morris Foursomes which was played off the yellow tees and was drawn partners. The course was in great condition and the scores were expected to be high and so it proved with Ian Wood & Dave Higgins coming in with 42 Stapleford points beating Doug Wright & Paul Buckley by 1 point.
